Timothy “Tim” R. Bailey, born March 31, 1963, passed from earth to heaven on February 4, 2026, in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loved ones.
Tim was preceded in death by his beloved son, Hunter Bailey; his grandmothers, Arda Thomas and Mildred Bailey; his mother, Lillian “Dolly” Bailey; and his father, Howard Bailey.
He is survived by his daughter, Kodi Bailey and her children Jagger and AnnaBell; his son, Ryan Bailey (Lacey); and his children Ryder and Hazel who were a great source of pride and joy to him.
He is also survived by his stepmother Susan Bailey, and his brothers and sisters: Tammie Espenlaub (Norman), Jennie Younkin (Duke), George Bailey (Lisa), Christine Bailey, and Cory Bailey (LaNez), Brian Bailey, and Andrea Bailey and many nieces, nephews.
Tim found happiness in life’s simple, meaningful moments—long drives on quiet country roads, hunting, time spent with family, games of pool, and friendly games of pinochle. He especially loved carnations, a favorite flower that reflected his straightforward nature and enduring spirit.
A plumber by trade, Tim took great pride in his work and deeply valued the many years he spent working alongside his longtime friend Jeff Hewitt. Plumbing was more than an occupation to him; it was a craft, a livelihood, and a place where loyalty and friendship were built.
Known for his generosity and heart for others, Tim would give you the shirt off his back if he thought you needed it. His life was shaped by love for his family, dedication to his work, and quiet moments that left lasting impressions. He leaves a legacy of love and will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
The family finds comfort in the promise of Scripture:
“In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you.
I go to prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself;
that where I am, there ye may be also.”
(John 14:2–3)
A private celebration of life will be held according to the wishes of the family.
