She passed away unexpectedly March 27, 2011 due to a heart attack. <\/p>\n<p>Kristie was born October 3, 1950 in Conrad, MT to Boleslaw and Maria (Sywyt) Balcerzak. <\/p>\n<p>Kristie had lived in Helena her whole life. She graduated from Helena High School in 1969. Kristie was a bookkeeper until 1992 when she had her first heart attack. After that, she was a homemaker. She and Chuck Blanchard were together for over 30 years. <\/p>\n<p>If you ever had a problem, Kristie would be the one to get on the phone to get it solved. She loved her animals. If she could have, her house would have been full of them. Her best talent was drawing and painting when she was younger. She looked forward to Thursdays when her daughter would take her and her mother (Maria) to lunch and go shopping. <\/p>\n<p>Kristie was preceded in death by her father, Boleslaw Balcerzak; brother and sister-in-law, Frances (Donalla) Balcerzak. She is survived by her partner, Chuck Blanchard; her two children, Bryce (Kathy) Lamping and Deana (Jim) Pace of Helena; mother, Maria Peterson; brothers, Gene (Chris) Balcerzak, Ben (Lori) Balcerzak, Rich (Jennifer) Balcerzak, and Joe (Linda) Balcerzak; and five grandchildren, Kyle Knight, Emily Griffith, Jesse Griffith, Chayce Lamping, and Payton Lamping. <\/p>\n<p>The family will receive friends between the hours of 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 31, at Anderson Stevenson Wilke Funeral Home. Funeral service will be noon Friday, April 1, at Anderson Stevenson Wilke Funeral Home. Interment will be at Forestvale Cemetery at a later date. Memorials in Kristie\u2019s name may be made to the Lewis &amp; Clark Humane Society, P.O. Box 4455, Helena, MT 59604 or to an animal charity or organization of the donor\u2019s choice.
