His passing occurred in St. Peter\u2019s Hospital, after a battle with liver cancer. \u00a0He was 56 years old. He was surrounded by loved ones and died very peacefully.<\/p>\n<p>Paul was born in Hardin, Montana, on August 31, 1956, to Lazaro Sanchez and Gabriela Galindo. He was born with his fraternal twin brother Pete.\u00a0 They were the seventh and eighth children, having six older sisters.<\/p>\n<p>Paul was an outgoing, hard-working, loving and lovable man. He grew up in Billings, Montana, where he got into much trouble and mischief. He eventually moved to Helena, Montana with his then wife Wanda and their two children, Amber and Justin. He sobered up and became an active and amazing member of Alcoholics Anonymous, affecting countless people. Using His servant Paul, God saved many lives.<\/p>\n<p>Paul\u2019s favorite activities included serving God in A.A., hiking Mt. Helena, working out at Crossroads Fitness Club, and spending time with family and friends. In July 2009, he met Helen Giltner Morrison and six months later they were married. They were very much in love and their life together was cut short.<\/p>\n<p>Paul was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings Pete Sanchez, Sara Rivera, Maria Valdera, Lupe Sanchez; and his nephew Lazaro Sanchez.<\/p>\n<p>Paul is survived by his wife Helen Sanchez, children Amber Pronteau and Justin Belgarde; sisters Fidela Mijares, Jane Williams, Adela Nanez; and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by five grandchildren: Kaidan Belgarde, Marlee Belgarde, Kyren Ogeda, Aydin James Pronteau, and James Michael Cleland.<\/p>\n<p>Services and a celebration of life will be held at First Presbyterian Church on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at 2 p.m., 535 North Ewing, 59601. Potluck to follow. Donations and flowers may be brought directly to the service, and check donations may be may be made out to \u201cPaul\u2019s Expense Account\u201d and sent to P.O. Box 1524\/Helena, MT 59624.<\/p>\n<p>Many thanks to the compassionate staff of St. Peter\u2019s Hospital and also of Emory Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Their kindness and understanding exceeded all expectations and they will not be forgotten.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you Paul, for everything.
