Janette \u201cJan\u201d Garman, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2026, at the age of 66, in Helena, MT due to natural causes.<\/p>\n
She was born the youngest of four children on May 29, 1959, in Conrad Montana, to Clarence Dupler and Charlotte Dupler. In 1962, her family moved to Clancy Montana, where she was raised. She graduated from Jefferson High School in Boulder Montana, in 1978.<\/p>\n
In 1979, she married Joe Bauer, and in 1980 they welcomed their daughter, Amanda (Mandie) into the world. In October of 2005, she married the love of her life, Larry Garman, and warmly welcomed her bonus children, Britney Varhley and Kelby Garman, into her heart.<\/p>\n
She was known for her warm heart and joyful spirit. A wonderful listener, she always sought to lift others up and make them feel better. She had an infectious laugh and a love for life, often saying, \u201cLet\u2019s go have fun!\u201d Her greatest joys included being a mom, spending time with her husband and family, working in her greenhouse, planting flowers, and tending to her yard. She was also a devoted fan of the Montana Grizzlies and the Denver Broncos.<\/p>\n
She found happiness in the simple pleasures of life\u2014spending time with friends, fishing, floating the Missouri River, going on four-wheeler rides, being outdoors, dancing with Larry, and taking road trips.<\/p>\n
She leaves behind her children: Amanda Stewart; Britney Varhley (Andrew Varhley); and Kelby Garman (Janelle Garman). She is remembered by her siblings: Billye Vincent (Vic Vincent) of East Helena, MT; Jerry Dupler (JoAnne Dupler) of Boulder, MT; and Tom Dupler (Joy Dupler) of Helena, MT. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Jillian Stewart, Addison Stewart, McKenzie Garman, Everett Garman, Lynn Varhley, and Amelia Garman. Being a Nana was one of her most valued gifts in life.
\nShe was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Charlotte Dupler; her daughter, Tammy Sue Bauer; and her husband, Larry Garman.<\/p>\n
A celebration of life will be held in her honor on May 30th at 3:00 PM at Chubby\u2019s Grill in Clancy, MT.<\/p>\n
