Together, they built a life centered around family, grounded in friendship, filled with laughter, and, at times, spirited debate. Their bond was one of deep connection and mutual respect, and it is a comfort to know they are reunited, continuing the partnership they treasured so dearly.

Kathy endured profound loss in her lifetime, including the passing of her infant son, James at birth, and her daughter, Kimberly Ann, in 2025. Through it all, she remained steadfast, carrying both grief and love with quiet strength.

She was known for her patience and her remarkable intuition. She could always tell when someone was trying to get something past her, and even more importantly, she could sense when something was wrong—especially with her children—and had a way of drawing it out and helping make it right.

Kathy loved her family without condition and without hesitation. She also had a special place in her heart for animals, especially horses and the many creatures she cared for over the years—though she enjoyed a spirited rivalry with Ben, the large white rooster who took it upon himself to guard the chicken coop against her at all costs.

Her laughter was well-earned, the result of a life fully lived, and a sense of humor that carried her through both joy and hardship. In true Kathy fashion, her only regret was the garage sale she never got around to having—an event that, if she had her way, might still somehow be scheduled.

Kathy is survived by her children: David Wiggins; Michael (Jan) Wiggins; Stephen (Joann) Wiggins; Leslie (Richard “Rick” Ybanez); and MaryLynn Wiggins. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Dalton Wiggins; Laurel (Jaimes) Vanderhoof; Chelsea (Mike) Hanseen; Thane Sebastian; Danielle Farrier; Brady Farrier; and Steven Gravitt; her great-grandchildren: Micah Johnson; Laila Vanderhoof; Nolan Smith; Declan Smith; Maiya Gravitt; and Charlie Gravitt. Her siblings and their families: Bill Warren; Tim (Lisa) Warren; and Mark (Jenny) Warren; her foster daughter Kim Anderson, along with many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her sister-in-law Jewell Wiggins, whom she loved dearly.

Kathy will be remembered as someone who laughed often, loved deeply, spoke honestly, and cared for both people and animals with a fierce and generous heart. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to the Humane Society in your area.

"event_title1":"Graveside Service","event_date1":"2026-05-08","start_time1":"12:00pm","end_time1":"","location1":"Montana State Veteran's Cemetery","address1":"3550 Heroes Road","city1":"Fort Harrison","state1":"Montana","zipcode1":"59636","event_title2":"","event_date2":"","start_time2":"","end_time2":"","location2":"","address2":"","city2":"","state2":"","zipcode2":"","event_title3":"","event_date3":"","start_time3":"","end_time3":"","location3":"","address3":"","city3":"","state3":"","zipcode3":"","event_title4":"","event_date4":"","start_time4":"","end_time4":"","location4":"","address4":"","city4":"","state4":"","zipcode4":"","event_title5":"","event_date5":"","start_time5":"","end_time5":"","location5":"","address5":"","city5":"","state5":"","zipcode5":"","event_title6":"
","start_time6":"","end_time6":"","location6":"","address6":"","city6":"","state6":"","zipcode6":"","event_title7":"","event_date7":"","start_time7":"","end_time7":"","location7":"","address7":"","city7":"","state7":"","zipcode7":"","event_title8":"","event_date8":"","start_time8":"","end_time8":"","location8":"","address8":"","city8":"","state8":"","zipcode8":"
["GET
