Dupree<\/p>\n<p>Faith Dupree, 69, passed away at home on Thursday November 17th, 2011 from a long illness surrounded by all of her loved ones.<\/p>\n<p>Faith Eloise Young was born to Lyle &amp; Hilma Young on April 8, 1942 in Helena, Montana. She attended Kessler Elementary, Hawthorne Elementary, Helena Junior High and Helena Senior High School with the Class of 1960.<\/p>\n<p>Faith met the love of her life, Mose (Bud) Dupree, while working at Gerties Drive-In.<\/p>\n<p>They were married on October 2, 1960 and had two children, Tamala and Mitch. Early on in their marriage Bud\u2019s line of work as a lineman required them to live in various places in Utah, Idaho &amp; Montana. They settled and made their home in Helena in 1970.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout life, Faith worked as a waitress and bartender at Gerties Drive-In, 408 Caf\u00e9,\u00a0Hofbrau and the Moose Lodge. Her main career was always as a Homemaker. She was a member of the Moose Lodge where she made lots of friends and had many fun times. She always dressed in style wherever she went. She had a notorious sense of humor and was the life of the party. Faith enjoyed playing softball, bowling, dancing, camping, card\/board games, games of chance and NASCAR. She enjoyed working in her flower gardens and created her own bird watching sanctuary in the back yard. She decorated her home for all seasons and holidays to always make her home feel warm and welcome. Faith\u2019s love of animals gave many strays a home. For many years she purchased feed and donated her time to feeding the ducks and geese at the Fairgrounds.<\/p>\n<p>Family and friends were most important to her. She organized and hosted many family gatherings and cherished the laughter, joking and gossiping that went on. She loved being a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, caregiver, teacher, mentor and leader. Her family often affectionately called her \u201cthe Little General\u201d. Faith had a heart of gold and will be dearly missed by all those who knew her.<\/p>\n<p>Faith was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Billy, Derrill &amp; Grant Johnson; sisters Beverly Williams &amp; Betty Andresen; nephew Justin Young.<\/p>\n<p>She is survived by her husband Mose (Bud) Dupree; daughter Tamala (Nick Peterson); son Mitch (Debbie) Dupree; sister Mona (George) Dupree; brothers Homer (Kay) Young and Bryce (Linda) Young. grandchildren Sara and Miranda Dupree, TJ Murry and Ryan (Tarra) Nickol; great grandchildren Clayton, Elizabeth and Carson; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.<\/p>\n<p>A funeral service is scheduled at 11 a.m., Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at Retz Funeral Home Chapel.
