Marguerite \u201cSpot\u201d O. Jones<\/p>\n
Our Mom is now with Dad as of November 5, 2011. No more peach daiquiris, going fishing, St. Patti\u2019s dinners and spending time out at the house near Canyon Ferry. Most of her life was spent with the family out camping and fishing. We believe that her last fishing trip, a couple of years ago, she caught the first fish and the largest \u2013 NO LIE!! Mom was always fun\u2014she worked with the Internal Revenue, and the State Vocational Rehabilitation office. She spent her younger years out at the Holter Dam where her Grandfather and Grandmother worked, and was rocked when the earthquake destroyed her school. In high school she included Russian Dancing, and on her 80th birthday she was introduced into golf (that didn\u2019t go well!). Her 90th birthday was one she couldn\u2019t forget, belly dancers!!<\/p>\n
Her first marriage was to a musician who played the horn with the Dorsey Brothers and others. Later, they divorced and then she cornered Dad and they were married for 36 years before his death. They had 5 kids to bring into adulthood. Mom was fun and we will miss her jokes and great parties.<\/p>\n
She is survived by 5 children, Marlene (Phil) Mazuranich of Bozeman, Frank (Shari) Jones of Idaho, Wendy (Dan) Negethon of Colstrip, Roberta Jones-Wallace of Helena, and Susan (Steve) Schimmel of Helena; 25 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.<\/p>\n
Mom spent her last couple of years at the Shelby House and they took real good care of her there. Thanks Shelby!<\/p>\n
