She graduated from Capital High School and attended UM-Helena’s
nursing program.

Lacee was the sweetest, most spirited person we have ever had the privilege of knowing. She loved her mom, babies, the Green Bay Packers, her cat Henry, her ferret Calamity Jane and all her family and friends. Lacee had an enormous love for animals, especially puppies. Lacee dedicated much of her time taking care of, and feeding homeless pets. She also loved going to the duck pond with her mother to feed the ducks. Lacee enjoyed traveling, especially with her father across the country in his Big Rig. She also loved going to Seattle to visit her extended family and friends. She brightened every room with her big smile and her infectious laughter. She may have been pint sized, yet, she was larger than life. She fought her cystic fibrosis with bravery and showed us all that if a 90-pound snot-nose punk kid can show that much courage, we can all face life’s challenges too. She wasn’t here for a long time, but she was here for a good time.

She is survived by her mother, Rose Miller, father Dennis Parvinen, grandparents Wayne and Ann Miller and Mary Ann Parvinen, great grandmother, Rose Miller, brothers Trevor, Tagert and Taustin, as well as
numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and an extended family.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at Retz Funeral Home Chapel from 11-5p.m. with family receiving friends from 5-7 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held at 12 noon, Friday, October 28, 2011 at the Cathedral of St. Helena with a reception to follow at the Brondel Center in the lower level of the Cathedral. Memorials in Lacee’s name may be sent to an organization of donor’s choice.
