She was born the youngest of 7 children in Temple, ND on November 19, 1922. Millie married Robert Ewing on September 3, 1950 in Hardin, MT. He preceded her in death in 1997. She is survived by her 4 children, 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>Mildred lived her life doing what she thought was right without consideration of how difficult that might be. &#8220;You just do what needs to be done.&#8221; She had strong morals, ethics and scruples. She gave generously throughout her life and always believed in keeping the lines of communication open.<\/p>\n<p>She had too many accomplishments in her life to list here. However, if you were fortunate enough to know her, she probably taught you something, gave you the desire to do better and the strength to do it.<br \/>\nAll that have known her should consider themselves blessed. She was loved by many; she will be missed very much and remembered frequently and fondly.<\/p>\n<p>A viewing is set from 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at Retz Funeral Home Chapel with family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. A Funeral Service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at Retz Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. A reception will be held at the First Baptist Church, corner of 8th and Warren, after the burial.
