He was intelligent, witty, humorous, had one of the best personalities and the biggest heart. He was our protector.

He had a love for the outdoors; chopping wood, going hiking, camping, fishing, and hunting. Larry had a passion for traveling, whether it was driving across the country or taking a cruise. Larry had a soft heart when it came to dogs. His little buddy Lukie will miss playing ball with him. Being around family and friends’, watching football, Nascar, movies, playing cards, board games, and eating his favorite snacks is what he loved to do.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents Sam and Ida Horning, Bill and Betty Saunders (father and mother in law), Jolene Saunders (sister in law), numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins. He is survived by his wife Linda, Lori and Bob Rowe of Helena, MT (daughter and son in law), Sherri and Terri Willard of Plentywood, MT (sister and brother in law), Lee and Kathy Horning of Thorton, CO (brother and sister in law), Sandra Gunwall of Dickenson, ND (sister in law), nephews and nieces Darren, Shelly, Jamie, Jason, Stephanie, and Chad.

The family would like to especially thank Dr. Thomas Weiner and his nursing staff for all of the support and comfort they gave to Larry.

A Vigil Service is set for 7:30 p.m. Sunday, November 14, 2010 at Retz Funeral Home Chapel.
