After many many years (to many to count)my husband and I looked Gordon up and located where he was at near Helena; called and he was so warm and welcomed us when we visit him back in 2006–I will always remember that — he is six months older I am. So to me it is a great loss and to early for him to be gone. Our prayers and thoughts go out to Ebb and family.We celebrate with Ebb and family his life of love and warm memories. And most of all I will always remember his smile.

Gordon will be missed by many. He was such a fun, full of life cowboy that had an infectious smile. Every time Mike rides Ringo, he will think of Gordon and the friend he was.

To watch Gordon shoe a horse was to see an artist at work. Gordon would move around an animal with the fluidity and grace of a dancer. Calm, strong and efficient. Men half his age would strain and sweat and tremble to work one hoof as Gordon did ’em all while telling a story. His influence on the folks around him was significant – he will be missed. My sincere condolences to Ebbe and his family.

It was a shock to see that Gordon had passed away. He was a wonderful man and friend. It was my pleasure to meet and get to know him thru natropathic and holistic medicine. I did Therapeutic touch for him many times. I think of him often and will miss him greatly.

Our hearts ache for you and yours, Ebbie. Gordon was so much more than our farrier! His knowledge, stories and jokes made him fun to be around, but it was his huge, loving, giving heart that shone through and touched us deeply. Words cannot express how much we will miss him.
