I met Sunday at JROTC summer camp at Fort Benning between 9th and 10th grades. Sunday was my first real love and I was a crappy boyfriend. My deepest condolences go out to Sunday’s family. She was a beautiful soul and I am so sad to hear about her tragic end. Bless you Sunday Cooley. Forgive me for not being there for you.

I knew her for a very short period of time, but it was enough for me to have wonderful memories of her. I’m sorry she and Rusty were not together for the rest of their lives; they were what I considered a loving couple. I believe she is in heaven with the other angels and taking care of Rusty, along with the rest of us who knew and loved her.
