Happy 80th Birthday, Dad! I think of you so often and have the picture of you wearing your white cowboy hat that I see each and every day. I also think of you and talk to you (as you know) every time I am snowmobiling up north. I miss you but know that I will see you again in Heaven and I thank God for that. Grandpa Jim
It’s been almost ten years since you passed and on this day I was somehow brought back to this page. I read that comment I must have posted around then and it made me cry. We all miss you down here and I know you’re hanging around always. Thank you for your stories and your love.

I was one of those young kids Jim gave a chance at Big Cheese Pizza. He made me a gm at 19 and the things I learned from him were invaluable in furthering myself. I only worked for him for a year but we continued a long friendship after I moved to Missoula. He will definitely be missed.

Me and my brother Tyler are the grandkids of Grandpa Jim. It seems like he is gone, but part of him is still with us. We will miss him a lot.

I have such fond memories of working on St. Paul’s Landscaing with Jim. I learned much from him. I have never seen anyone put down sod as fast as he could! Seemed as if the air was full of grass as he effortlessly tossed it into place.
