While cleaning out my office, I came across a letter from Kittie – I had never actually met her, but I was the recipient of an endowed scholarship while a nursing student at Carroll College – we conversed every year and I really enjoyed her letters. The letter was dated June 11, 2009 – I had graduated in 1995. I believe that she created the scholarship in memory of Uncle Harold and Aunt Jessie as she notes they would be happy their hard-earned money was being put to good use.
I regret losing touch with her – as I write this it is Dec 2022 – I don’t expect anyone to see this, but if family does see this, please drop me a line RcopterN@msn.com

I have wonderful memories of my most entertaining neighbor, Kittie. She loved pets, even my mutt, and could tell a story like no one else. I am smiling now just thinking of all her anecdotes. God bless her.

I am so sorry to hear that my “Aunt Jean” passed away. She was such a special person and I loved her very much. The last time I saw her was at my mom’s service in 2002 and she was still an amazing woman. She always had a smile on her face and in her heart. I miss her so…my sympathies to you all. Good Bye Aunt Jean…
