I only recently met Dorcas at the Masonic Home. She sat at the dinner table with my dad, Dick. She was a sweetheart and had a warm and caring heart. My dad has alzheimers and she would keep an eye on him and encourage him to eat more and keep me abreast about how he was doing, because you could never get a straight answer out of him 🙂 My condolences to all of Mrs. Whitehead’s family. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Sam, Pat, Jake, Jade,

It is hard to find the right words to say. I am and have been praying for God’s peace to be on all of you.

I feel your hurt, and ask God to comfort you all at this time and for the days ahead. I pray that you each will be there for oneanother, it is not any easy thing to loose both parents in just 5 months.

God knows your hurt and loves you very much.
I love you to and if ever you need to talk I am hear.

I will miss both of them. As children we spent alot of time with them, spending summers, going camping,I even lived with them for a time. Aunt Dorcas could always make a person laugh. It seemed like she really enjoyed life. I will miss them very much.

Whitehead Family, I am sorry for the loss, but Dory was suffering and I know she wanted to go to the lord, we visited her last week and she was not happy We are saddened to see her pass but she is in a better place. and we will miss her smiling face and good attitude.
