Sure, we were very different in many ways, but somehow I always trusted your dad, and knew I’d get a straight answer from him. He was a good man, and the type of man that we just aren’t making anymore.

Despite you two being of very different generations and mindsets in many ways, I’m glad you can look back on your childhood and see the positive, the happy, the valuable. That says a lot about the type of man that you are!

I have many good memories of Greg, including riding to Yellowstone in the back of their RV, salmon fishing in Washington, boating through the Gates of the Mountains, working on Chris’s car in Greg’s shop while he sat on a stool and drank Coors and criticized us for leaving tools out, and Greg plumbing our first house without charging labor. What I learned from Greg is to do what you can to share what you have and there is always room to do a better job.

He was always very kind and professional when he came in. We had very many pleasant and humorous reactions. I was very saddened to read of Greg’s passing. He was a very kind man.
