Michael T. Meyer, a teacher, coach, principal, and superintendent, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 20, 2025.
Michael is survived by his children: Jillian Meyer, Shane Meyer, and Tracey Meyer; his brother, Bruce Meyer and sister-in-law Joan Meyer; his grandchildren Molly Meyer and Eric Meyer. Michael was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Francis Meyer, and his brothers, John Meyer and Dennis Meyer.
Michael was born on December 17, 1948 to Edward and Francis Meyer in Helena, MT. Michael obtained his teaching degree and was a teacher, coach, counselor, and drivers ed instructor for many years. Michael then obtained his Masters in Education, becoming a principal/superintendent of schools before retiring and moving to Washington for several years to help take care of his grandchildren. Michael then moved back to MT for a few years, before moving to Arizona to be closer to his children.
Michael was an avid skier, loved to play sports, go to the movies, eat late night pizza, and spend time with his family. Michael was also known for his humor and loving nature, always putting family first.
